CannaBoss is the responsible party for the personal information described here, operating lounges in Johannesburg South and Potchefstroom. Reach our privacy contact at privacy@cannaboss.co.za.

On this public site we collect only what you send us: the contact details in an email or WhatsApp message you initiate, and the age-confirmation flag stored in your own browser. Membership applications are handled on the separate members portal, which has its own notice.

In the lounge, we may record your name, contact number and proof of age for membership and compliance purposes.

To confirm you are 18 or older, to answer your enquiry, to administer membership and lounge access, and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations.

When you confirm you are 18+, we save a single flag in your browser's local storage so the age gate does not reappear on every visit. It contains no personal information and is never transmitted to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the site and the club, and only to the extent needed — and with authorities where the law requires it.

We keep membership and compliance records for as long as your membership is active and for any period the law requires afterwards, then delete or de-identify them. Access to records is limited to staff who need it, and accounts on our systems are individually authenticated.

Under POPIA you may ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to processing, or complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa. Send requests to our privacy contact above and we will respond within a reasonable period.
